After the day’s temple raiding, we were famished. We headed back to the hotel to freshen then took a 15-minute walk to Pub Street. Pub Street is a short stretch of road in Siem Reap’s Old Market that is lined by restaurants, bars and souvenir shops.

We stumbled upon Temple Bar, which also featured an Aspara dance show from 7:30PM-9:30PM. This was one of the things I wanted to see in Siem Reap, so I thought we’d hit two birds with one stone: a meal and a show! We took our seats, ordered our food and drinks and waited for the show to start.

The two-hour show was actually pretty good, and the food was filling, great for a day of walking through various temples. I suppose there are other places to go to see a more authentic show, but I think value for money, this is an ace.

(This is another retro post. This trip took place July 29 – August 2, 2012.)
